The Mine Town Park in Vladivostok has a rich history that goes back to the beginning of the XX century. Once a military town, a hospital and weapons depots were located here, and three artificial ponds were created on the Bujakovka River. In 1985, the territory was transformed into the Central Park of Culture and Recreation, but in the 90s it fell into decline.
Today, the Mine Town Park in Vladivostok is experiencing a second birth. As part of a large-scale reconstruction, pedestrian paths are equipped here, lighting and benches are installed. The plans include the restoration of historical buildings, the creation of museums, the improvement of ponds and the addition of new zones.
