The landscapes of the Gamova Peninsula with bizarre cliffs in the sea and centuries-old pines have inspired more than one generation of artists and professional photographers. Due to the inaccessibility and the eastern area of the marine reserve, the buffer zone of which includes the peninsula, primary plant communities that have disappeared elsewhere in the area are preserved here. Connoisseurs say that these landscapes served as prototypes of stone gardens and Bonsai art.

The Gamova Peninsula from the south-west is washed by Posiet Bay, from the east is the water area of the Far Eastern Marine Reserve. By land, the peninsula is also partially protected. The highest point of the peninsula is Mount Tumannaya. Its height is 508 meters. According to legend, the first Russian ship discovered the peninsula during heavy fog, hence the Russian name. The Gamova Peninsula crashes into the water with sandy and pebble beaches, and the bays are separated by capes and spits. From left to right on the water you pass: Vityaz Bay, Cape Schultz, Kamen (island) Alekseev, Alekseev Bay, Cape Babkin, Cape Dangerous Bay, Cape Gamova, Telyakovsky Bay, Cape Telyakovsky, Cape Astafyev.

Tourists most often stop in the village of Andreevka, which is located on the way to the peninsula, or on the holiday base. Further, independently or as part of tour groups, they go to explore the peninsula. Tourists explore the Mist Mountain by land or from the sea. From the top of the mountain there are views of the bays with azure water, the main flow of tourists passes along the route to Telyakovsky Bay and Astafyev Bay.
