Walking area at the Primorsky Oceanarium

The walking area near the Primorsky Oceanarium is a place where nature is harmoniously combined with architecture, and each element is created to give guests a sense of peace and inspiration.
The center of attention is a system of artificial ponds and water structures - the mirror surfaces of the water are connected by streams and small bridges, and a quiet waterfall fills the space with a soft sound. In the warm season in the ponds you can observe freshwater fish - graceful koi carp, sazans and other species. These reservoirs become a natural home for birds: in summer you can often see ducks with ducklings, and sometimes majestic herons flying to the water
For rest and contemplation, cozy gazebos, benches and parapets with sea and embankment views are provided.
A special atmosphere is created by small architectural forms - sculptures depicting prehistoric and modern marine inhabitants. They seem to invite you to an amazing journey through time, reminding you of the ancient inhabitants of the seas and oceans.
Historical heritage also occupies an important place in the walking zone: on the territory of the oceanarium, the buildings of the Vladivostok fortress are preserved - the coastal battery No. 13, the artilleryman's house and other monuments, carefully inscribed in modern space.
