Expositions of the aquarium
The zone "Russian Water Space" consists of unique expositions dedicated to the Amur River, the lakes of Khanka and Baikal, the history of the development of the Arctic and Antarctica, the harsh cold-water Bering and Okhotsk seas, the most native and close to Japan. The Russian water space has its own forest (where without it in Russia). Taking into account the specifics of the complex, the forest is algal.
The ocean abyss is the largest aquarium of the complex (3,320 cubic meters of water). It is so large that it was built before the roof was erected.
Feeding the inhabitants of the Primorsky Oceanarium
In the underwater tunnel with tropical fish (Vt., S., S.) and the exposition "Ocean abyss" (cf., pt., V.) at 12:30 visitors can watch the feeding of sharks and stingrays. These predators circle with divers in a mesmerizing underwater waltz. Often they are joined by other inhabitants of the largest aquarium: cobia, pompano and karanga.
> No less interesting spectacle awaits visitors in the exposition "Polar world". Here you can watch the life of funny Humboldt penguins, and at 14:00 and 18:00 see how they are fed. >> The aquarium hosts various activities for children and adults every week: excursions, master classes, lectures and environmental holidays.
