How the "City of Military Glory" stele appeared in Vladivostok
The "City of Military Glory" stele was installed in Vladivostok on September 2, 2012 in honor of conferring the honorary title of the Russian Federation to the city. This monument, located on Svetlanskaya Street near the square of the Fighters of the Revolution, symbolizes the contribution of Vladivostok to the military history of the country.
The central stele with a height of about 10 meters is crowned with a double-headed eagle - the coat of arms of Russia, and a bronze cartouche with the text of the Presidential Decree is fixed on its facade. Four pylons at the corners of the pedestal are decorated with bronze bas-reliefs that illustrate the military exploits of the Vladivostok people in different periods of history.
