The Golden Bridge

The Golden Bridge over the Golden Horn Bay made it possible to travel from the center of Vladivostok to the remote Churkin Cape in 5-10 minutes, instead of the usual 1.5-2 hours.

The idea of building a bridge arose in the middle of the last century. Work on its construction began only in 2008, in preparation for the APEC-2012 summit.

Its appearance is characterized by some features. The supports of the bridge are very similar to the English letter "V". The Golden Bridge is also one of the ten largest cable-stay bridges in the world.

The development project took into account the natural features of the Primorsky Territory. In the evening, the bridge is painted with special lighting. The Golden Bridge is one of three bridges built in Vladivostok over the past few years. It can rightfully be considered the main symbol and visiting card of the city.
