The Pacific Fleet Drama Theatre in Vladivostok
The Pacific Fleet Drama Theatre dates back to 1932. During the Great Patriotic War, the theater toured military units and ships of the Pacific Fleet, and when the war with Japan began, the creative team, divided into frontline brigades, worked in the active army and participated in the liberation of China and Korea. Since 1955, the theater was based in the garrison village of the Testaments of Ilyich on the shore of the Sea of Okhotsk.
In 1995, modern history began, when the theater returned to Vladivostok. The basis of the new team was almost the entire issue of the theater faculty of the Far Eastern Institute of Arts.
Today, the TOF Drama Theater is still an integral part of the Pacific Fleet, its special unit.
Repertoire of the TOF theater
> In the repertoire of the theater, along with classical works, there are the most striking works of modern playwrights, and productions include original technical solutions. The best, according to viewers and critics, works of the theater are the play “Forever Living”, “Purely Family Business”, “At the Ark in 8”, “Actor”, “56 cable”, etc.
Drama Theater of the TOF is visited by people of different ages and professions, because it opens its doors for spectators for children’ performances, family, theatrical excursions, drama and comedy, etc.
