Burachka Sopka is the brightest peak of the city, equipped with pedestrian bridges. And it is bright due to the red carpets, which well look very photogenic in the camera of your smartphone.
Vladivostok has one distinctive feature (in fact, not one) - the city stands firmly on the hills and gives you the opportunity to look at it from a different angle. And more precisely from a bird's eye view.

Sopka Burachka is the brightest peak of the city, equipped with pedestrian bridges. And it is bright due to the red tracks, which well look very photogenic in the camera of your smartphone.

Many bays, capes, islands in the Primorsky Territory are named after seafarers, discoverers of these places and the first mayors. So the hill, popularly called Dvuhorboy, and Sedlova, and Dunkin navel, received its name in honor of Evgeny Stepanovich Burachka, the first commander of the military port of Vladivostok.

The height of the hill is 138 meters. With its bald cone-shaped top, the hill remotely resembles a volcano. Although in fact Burachka has two peaks - hence the nicknames "Two-humped" and "Saddle".

In the mid-90s of the last century, the territory of the hill was declared a recreational zone. But, despite this, they took a rock from there, destroying the sight. For the fate of the hill actively fought local residents. An important role in the improvement of the hill was played by a full member of the Society for the Study of the Amur Territory Georgy Trusenev. For several years he planted on the hill about 400 ornamental trees, 70 species of shrubs and several dozen perennial flowering plants of the Ussuri taiga, including the Red Book

> In 2021, improvement work began on the hill. There were viewing areas, a convenient staircase, paths and benches. The area near the abandoned water tower was ennobled. The workers managed to preserve the unique hill plants. The new attraction instantly became popular among residents and guests of the city, because from the top of the hill there is a panoramic view of the whole of Vladivostok. Here come to admire the dawns and sunsets.
