Berendei Falls

Berendey Waterfall is a picturesque place at the foot of Chitinza Mountain (Rocky) of the Primorsky Territory
Berendey Waterfall is one of the most attractive natural attractions of the region. With a height of only 8 meters, it is not distinguished by its grandeur, but its picturesqueness and accessibility make it popular with tourists. The waterfall is especially attractive in winter, when the water freezes and forms a huge ice icicle, which grows and increases in size until the spring.
Berendey is a great place for a relaxing holiday, and its surroundings at any time of the year look fascinating. The summer months show the waterfall in its natural form, when it drains off rocks and murmurs, and in winter turns into a unique ice phenomenon
When to go to Berendei Falls
The best time to visit Berendei Falls is autumn and winter. In summer, the waterfall demonstrates its natural beauty, but in winter it turns into a real ice sculpture. During this period, the water freezes, and the waterfall resembles a giant icicle, growing every day. Especially picturesque are the winter photos, when the ice formations sparkle in the sun.
