About a kilometer from the amazing beach was a city landfill, which was built in 1967 right on the beach. Around the clock, the landfill exuded black pungent smoke, the plume from which, according to rumors, sometimes reached Japan. Bottles from this landfill flowed towards the beach and broke on the rocks. And the sea year after year brought the fragments to a rounded shape. During the preparation of Vladivostok for the APEC-2012 summit, the smoking landfill was reclaimed. And today Glass is a popular holiday destination.

It is best to come to the beach early in the morning when the glass in the surf strip shimmers and shines in the rays of the rising sun.

The route to Glass Bay

The easiest way to get to Glass Bay is by car. The beach is about 10 kilometers from the city. Move along the Vladivostok-Artem highway along the Ussuri Bay, bypass the village of Rybachy and after 2 kilometers on the right side you will see a poster "Steklyannaya Bay".

If you do not have a personal car, you can order a taxi. The third option is the city bus No26 "Meadow - Bay of the Landing". However, there is no bus stop near the glass. Ask the driver to drop you off in front of the bay.
