For Vladivostok residents, the festival is an occasion for rest, good mood and meetings with friends. In 2023, a new gastronomic festival “O! Mega Taste!, dedicated to white fish - pollock.

Mintai is a fish useful for health, has a high nutritional value and extremely useful for the human body. Introduce pollock into the culture of mass consumption of Russians, make a turn to the domestic market - this is the key task of the festival "O! Mega Taste. The organizers were the Tourist and Information Center of the Primorsky Territory (Visit Primorye) with the support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Primorsky Territory (at that time - the Tourism Agency of the Primorsky Territory), the Gastronomic Map of Russia and the Russian Fishery Company (RPK). The time when pollock can be seen on the festive table and in school lunches, in a status restaurant and in a street cafe is not far off.

> During the festival days, chefs of restaurants and cafes of Vladivostok show that pollock is a “serious” fish, dishes from which are tasty and useful, and you can cook them without much effort. In 2023, the chefs announced about 30 dishes from pollock, and already in 2024 - more than 50.

If the first festival was new, then the second was already waiting with impatience. The chefs presented dishes from pollock in all its splendor, held 7 gastronomic master classes, where more than 70 portions were prepared on each. The audience was not disappointed!
